Important message about Covid-19 and our meetups.
After the emergency measures recently adopted by the British government related to Covid-19, Digital St. Albans will cancel all in-person events until further notice. This ensures the health of participants and members of our community.
Due to the current situation, we all must work at home and that could be difficult given the circumstances. So, it is going to be very important to maintain communication with colleagues. We believe that being connected with other people, not only makes more enjoyable the working hours, but benefits our mental health. Therefore, we are going to transform our coworking meetups into coworking online sessions.
By the way, our colleagues from WPandUP are making an open chat every Friday at 15 hrs to help remote workers. This is just to talk and be connected because it is important to feel that we are not alone in this situation.
I will post more information about how we are going to create more online events and spaces to connect during the following days. So, follow us to stay updated about events news.
We are doing our part to be responsible and we are joining the initiative to stay at home to stay safe. This is the best way to stand in solidarity and express our gratitude to the hardworking professionals in health care, supermarkets and food providers, transportation, social services, and any other workers who are continuing to work for all of us in spite of the risk.
