Why do we need support?
Out goal is that the events we organise are accessible to everyone.
Because of this, we do not charge any fees to any attendee, because even a small fee can be too much for some people. So we ask to any business out there to help us to cover the costs of the meetups and events.
If you decide to support us, it will help us to grow and reach more people creating a much better experience for the local digital community in St. Albans.
Benefits
Sponsoring the meetups is a great way to give back to your local community, but it we want to give you something back too. As sponsor you will get the following benefits:
Online
- We will put your Business Name, Logo and Link on the footer of this website. It will appear on all pages and posts. (only available for long term commitments of at least 3 months).
- We will put your name, logo and link on the post announcement of the event you sponsor. The post will stay on the website for future references.
- This announcement will be sent by email to all subscribers.
- We will share and announce the event on all our social networks and it is normally shared by third parties all around.
At the event
- We will name your business and explain a little about what you do at the beginning on each one of our events.
- If you attend to the event, you will be have 2 minutes to talk about your company at the start of the event (just after the welcome intro).
- You will have a Swag Table on the event shared with other sponsors of that event. If you give us some swag or card we will put them on the table of the event you are sponsoring for everyone to see and take one.
- If there is a presentation on the event, we will put your name, logo, and small description on the presentation slide (on the space for sponsors).
Sponsorship Packages:
The meetup organisers are volunteers so we do not ask money for them. Instead we have create 4 packages to make it easier to support the community group.
We have different sponsorship packages: Venue, Hosting, Food and Drinks.
Venue Package – Please contact us
This is the most important package.
It will allow us to get a private room for the meetups, improving the whole experience of the attendees and allowing us to grow and create different events.
- The sponsor will pay for the venue cost.
- We require at least 6 months commitment for this package.
- The cost of the venue goes from £50 per month at the moment to more.

Hosting Package – Not Available
- The sponsor must provide the hosting for this website.
- We require a one year commitment for this package.
Event Food Package – Can be assigned per event.
- The sponsor will provide some food for the event.
- We will use small plates for all to share or pizza or something that is easy to share.
- The estimate is a max of £5 per attendee.
- The exact cost will be calculated for each event.

Event Drinks Package – Can be assigned per event.
- The sponsor will provide 1 drink per attendee.
- The drinks will be limited to wine, beers, soda drinks and juices.
- The estimate is a max of £5 per attendee.

For some packages, we think that works better if the payment is arranged directly with the venue. We can help you with this.
